LPL Little Rock
How do I even begin to describe to you my weekend? God just blessed us at every turn and I am soooo thankful that we were able to go, see old and new friends, and to return home with our love tanks full.
I am going to save what I learned for another post because I have a lot of pictures and I want to be able to not feel rushed to sum up what I learned at the conference.
I will say this........Little Rock Living Proof Live 2011 was one of the most powerful LPL I have even been too. It was as powerful as my very first LPL in OKC in the summer of 2006. OKC LPL was the kick off to some major rewiring in my life. I mean, I left there feeling like I had been shredded into a million pieces and could hardly breathe. I knew some things had to change.
Years later.....I am at a much different place and still as desperate for the Lord as ever. THe theme of the weekend was "Fulfill your ministry"...and some of the very things mom and I had shared with each other on the trip up, are the things Beth talked about. We could not believe it. God was up to some big things!
Ok, more on that later. Mom came thrus afternoon. We went on a super long walk in town and then came back to get packed for our trip. Mom surprised me with a few of her cake balls she had made earlier that week. RED VELVET!!!!!!!!!!....amazing.
We left around 9 am Friday morning for Little Rock. We were so excited to get out of town. We love to travel!!!
We pulled into Little Rock around 3ish I think and needed to stop and eat our big meal of the day. We passed by Five Guys and I knew we had to eat there!!! I have heard all my AR twitter girls talk about this place!!!!
it was sooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!! Oh my, they give you a massive amount of fries and we loved that you could get all kinds of stuff on your burger!!! so yum!!! Plus there were some cute single guys in there (mom pointed them out to me ha) and it was true biblical confermation that I must move to ARKANSAS! ha! just kidding on the biblical part ha!

Then it was time for us to head to Hillary's parent's house!!! They were so so so kind to let us stay with them for the weekend! Their home is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Mom and I even got our own rooms!!!! so fun!!!
I stayed in this one! They have art work everywhere....I was trying to play it cool but I wanted to touch everything and scream!
Mom stayed in this one! SOOOO CUTE!!!!!
We got to meet Hillary's mom and then her dad. Bless her dad's heart...I met him with a head full of hot rollers...I looked crazy ha! They are both sooo nice!
Mom and I quickly changed and updated our make-up. Then we headed downtown to the Verizon Arena! We were soooooooo excited!
We got there kinda late but found great seats down pretty low. Not to long after we got there I turned and saw these two BEAUTIFUL girls coming towards me!!!! Meet my new friends Caitlin and Nicole ......both girls are in college and go to Ole Miss. They were beyond darling and I was thrilled that they found me because I had emailed with Nicole. I will share more on them in a bit. Aren't they just beautiful! Go click on their names and check out there blogs!

While I was talking to the girls Meredith came up and I was sooo glad to finally meet her! Sweetest little voice I have ever heard. I am so deep voiced and loud ha and she was just precious!
I hate that we didn't get another pic but this is Michelle !! She is sooooooo nice and she was actually apart of the planning commity for LPL Little Rock! We had emailed some and I was glad that we could meet up! Her commity did a FABULOUS JOB!!!!!
Ok so I am talking to everyone and I turn and my eyes see JILL AND JOY AND I TOTALLY SCREAMED L.O.U.D. for joy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was sooooo glad to huge their necks.
and what Jill has NOT been telling us is that SHE IS GETTING SOOOOOOOO SKINNY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Girl, you are lookin good!!!!!!!!! Her legs are the size of my fingers!! So proud of you friend! I know you have been working hard! Maybe I need to try this 1200 calaries a day thing!!!???!!!!
These two sisters are just so darling to me. They are so easy to be with and fun. I love you both!!!
Later I will share what we talked about on friday night. Travis did stary the night off with some Chris Tomlin songs and you know I love Chris Tomlin! OH and when "In Christ Alone" started I thought I would pass out from just wanting to Praise God with everything I had.
We headed home for some sleep and then we were back up....BRIGHT AND EARLY....and back at the arena Sat morning. We wanted to try to get lower down. We spotted some open seats on the front row and then saw our precious Nicole and Caitlin! We were so excited to be able to sit with them during the sessions on Sat.
me and mom. We got settled then went to get a sausage biscut and some coffee!
We ate and talked with the girls for awhile. Then mom said "I THINK THAT IS LAURIE" and I turned and it was totally Laurie. I, of course, yelled her name loud hahahhaha!
She was looking beautiful as always!!! I was glad she got to meet my mom! Mom says that Laurie's girls remind her of Dixie and I when we were that age! We got to catch up and it so fun. Laurie is so easy to talk to.
The girls wanted to meet Laurie too!!!!!
While Laurie and I were talking Candy came up (the one next to me) to say hi!!! I LOVE CANDY! I have been reading her blog since I started mine! She is so sweet and such a good mom. Her kids are DARLING! I was thrilled to see her face to face. She and I also got to talk during the break time. Such a sweet friend!
Then it was time for things to start......and man oh man...i was not expecting God to really bring down the house in both worship and teaching. POWERFUL people, powerful.
There were a few women that would dance during some of the songs. I was really beautiful to watch.

During the break time Mom and I ran around looking at all the books and stuff you could buy. Here is mom with the bible study they just finished at her church. SHE LOVED IT!!!
When the conference was over, we said our goodbyes to people and then headed up to look at the cd's Travis had at his table. Mom bought us some and we TOTALLY GOT to get our picture with him. If you remember the story of LPL Memphis... when I kinda stalked him in the hotel and didn't get a pic till the next day. Getting this pic was like sweet redemption for my crazy behavior. ha! He was very nice!
Mom and I left and headed to CORKY'S to have lunch with...

and i finally got to meet LITTLE AMELIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is sooooooo cute!
i mean, look at this face. We sat by each other...we were instant BFF's ha
So Pork BBQ is not a big deal to most but we live in Texas but the parents are from TENN and Pork is a BIGGGGG DEALLLLL TO US! yum yum yum
Aren't they soooo beautiful??? and fun!
See....it was instant friendship...
I mean....seriously, if she was 29 we would talk on the phone every day. ha

Baby Sadie was born last Wed night to Josh and Hillary
She is soooooo tiny and soooooo lean. She has the most petite features. Mom and I were so excited to hold her!
she has the longest toes! so sweet.
I got really nervous at first because I had not held a newborn in like FOREVER!!! She is so light but strong! And she smelled so good! So fun!
So all my blog/twitter friends are having babies and always talking about things they like as far as baby products. I just had to try the boppy thing while I held her. ha! and yes...it does make things easier ha!
I loved getting to sit and visit with Hillary and Josh. It was my first time to meet Josh and we just loved him. So calm and so nice. Hillary was a WEALTH of knowledge and while holding Sadie I found out all kinds of things about birth that I DID NOT KNOW!!!!!!!!! hahahhaha. yikes!ha!
So, I had the honor of painting Sadie something special for her room. I also write a prayer and scriptures on the back of things I paint. So I covered the back canvas with scriptures I think she will cling to as she grows.
I just happened to be holding her when Hillary opened the painting. As I held her I got to read my prayer over her. I tell you...I had to really try to not cry like a baby. I had not even planned that. It just happened and it was special to me.

Sadie's room is coming along and it is soooooo fun! Lots of color! I love this lamp!
I love this picture...so sweet. I can't wait to have babies!!!!!
We all sat in the living room for a long time and talked! I was so grateful for the time. I enjoyed it so much. Here are a few pictures I captured of Sadie with her Daddy.

This one makes me laugh becuase it looks like she is messin with her nose and smiling about it! ha!

We said our goodbyes and headed back to Hillary's parent's house. We crashed in mom's bed and watched a Hallmark movie. I went to bed at like 8.30 pm ha! I was BEAT!!!
Sunday morning we were up and on the road by 8:30 am. Mom and I pretty much talked about our weekend the entire ride home. We went over ever detail of the notes taken during the conference and discussed what we learned. You all know that I love my mom. But she is not just my mom, she is also my friend. I am sooooo thankful for her.
God not only answered our prayers, HE went ABOVE AND BEYOND in blessing us over and over. What a weekend! What a NOW WORD we recieved! I can't wait to share the heart side of it. Hope you enjoyed all the pictures! Hope you have a great week. Love you!
