so behind...

i have been having issues again with photobucket and my computer (sigh, roll eyes). They don't love each other thus causing me to go crazy in the head.

that's why I'm not blogging. I know I don't HAVE to tell you all this but I feel the need to since a several of you have emailed. It's taking me forever to finish my next trip post. I have kinda put false pressure to get all the Israel posts done because i want to share it while it's fresh. But I just can't with having to turn my computer on and off multiple times. So bare with me. Tax refund = new computer. ha. Lord willing.

but here is a photo snack of the future...

Happy Birthday Amy!!!!!!! I wish I could have been in Hawaii with you yesterday...even at the youth group car wash! ha! I hope you had a great day! I am so blessed to have you in my life and thank the Lord for 29 years of you!!!!!

Ok, off to enjoy the sunshine. Think I will ride my cute bike to town! Love you friends.

ps... can i share something real quick?

I have a table full of "what ifs" and "back-up plans" in front of me right now. Friday the Lord told me "I've got this" after I went to Him in prayer over future things. Then last night, I some how ended up in the book of Daniel and found his prayer that I know by heart...

"Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
wisdom and power are his.

He changes times and seasons;
he sets up kings and deposes them.

He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning.

He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him.

I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers:
You have given me wisdom and power,
You have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king.” Daniel 2 20-23

and again, I received a gift of confirmation that my God is in control. He will give me the wisdom and knowledge I need for each step. He will reveal deep and hidden things to me that I could never know on my own. My responsibility is to, like Proverbs 2 says, "turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones...."

And after writing that out, I just want to sing "He's got the whole world in His hands" followed up by a really loud HALLELUJAH! and just so you know, I am setting my feet firmly on solid ground and calling out to the only One that can guide my feet in victory. Amen to that. See you soon, friends.
