Baby Love...
What a busy weekend!!!! But my love tank is currently overflowing and I am just so thankful! There is nothing like being with people that you have done life with!
I had two showers today. Sadly they fell on the same day as my 10 year High School Reunion! Crazy right! I decided to stick with my Baby Shower plans and so glad that I did! I added an old picture of each couple and then a few old pictures at the end to help tell the stories! I love watching people grow up and change!!!! SO FUN!!!!
First up was the shower for Charity! It was held at my old church ( Hillcrest) and I got to see so many friends!
This is Mrs. Ambra! She is the woman that spent lots of time with me and taught me how to organize my prayer life and the importance of praying the scriptures! She has given Laura, Amy and I so much guidance and info over the years! Had not seen her in a long time and it made my day! Hate that this picture is fuzzy.

Mary Beth (my old pastor's daughter and a former art student of mine...she won my art award her 9th grade year. She is now in college....tear!) and Anna Wright who has returned from 2 years of living in another country! So fun to talk with them both!

Random pics of Charity!

This is Angela with her new blonder and shorter do! I love it! Angela and her husband, Rick, have been the College Department Directors since I was in college! They are so funny and we just love them!
Super cute Jessica that just married our Favorite Guy----Caleb Wright!

Beverly (pastor's wife, also teaches in my School District) and Mary Beth. I love love love the Simmons family! I have have taught 2 of their 3 kids and loved getting to know them! They are so special to me!
Aaron and Charity....

and their little Sam!!!!! He just gets cute by the day!

It was such a fun shower. They served brunch and it was so good. It was pouring down rain the entire time and it just made things cozy! I needed to see all those faces! I am so blessed by them!
I then hit the road for Oak Cliff--Bishop Arts District for another shower....

I actually blogged about Holly and Peyton's wedding during my first year on the blog! They got married in Houston.
Holly is a childhood friend. She is between Dixie and I in age! We all lived in Dayton, Tx and just down the street from each other. We went to church together, played barbies for hours at each other's houses, and just loved being together! Not only do we love Holly but we LOVE LOVE LOVE her family! The sweetest people you will EVER MEET!
The shower was at her brother's house! It was beautiful!

We had a wonderful time visiting with them and it was fun to spend some time with Mom!!
This is Linza and John. Linza is a teacher and John is a football coach in Canton! Which is so crazy because that's where I graduated from AND my Dad was the Head Football Coach/Ath Director for a long time. She and I have lived in so many of the same towns!

I was at the hospital the night Linza was born!!!!!!!! Her dad and my dad were coaching together in Mineola, Tx at the time. I don't remember life without the Sherman family!!!! That is what I love about the coaching community...many become like family to you!!!
We have her parents (with her mom pregnant with Linza) on video at one of my birthday parties!!! I think I was turning 4. ha! I taught Linza how to do a cartwheel and when we moved to Dayton.....they did too!

Which is WHY I LOVE THIS PICTURE BELOW.....
Both pregnant/due around the same time and both long time childhood friends of mine!
OH IT JUST MAKES MY HEART SO HAPPY!
Look how cute they were and Holly's short hair!!! ha
Look at little Linza and her tongue sticking out.....so cute

Linza and that beautiful red hair! I sure hope baby Paisley has red hair too!!!

SIDE NOTE........ here is another picture from that birthday party....it was at Burger King ha! Holly is in the background and there was a clown. I hate clowns by the way ha! I put this picture up because this outfit I am wearing, is the very outfit I walked (by myself) down the aisle to accepted Christ! Even if I didn't have this picture I would still remember what that shirt looked like! I knew EXACTLY what I was doing that night and it was by my own choice! I cried the whole way down and even when they presented it before the church! I will never forget that night and I have not been the same since!!! Praise God!

ok, last old pic I promise! Her I am with Linza and Dixie! This was taken on a cool sunday afternoon! We were on the playground of Stephen F. Austin Elem school! I have on socks with jellies.....not cool i know hahahahaha!
In other news.........Today is one of our favorite blogger's birthday!
