L is for the way you look at me........

What a great weekend!!!! One of those weekends that needs to be great because it contains so many "last" memories and emotions are so high. I must say that this is one of those weekends that will forever be at the top of my "life's favorite moments" list. I love my friends. I love their families..I love my family. Hearts knitted together by God's great love and you just can't have a better time than that.

Of course, this post will be full of pictures. This post contains rehearsal dinner and the morning of the wedding. The following post (maybe tomorrow-ish) will be wedding day prep and wedding. Oh it was such a lovely time friends!!! so lovely!!!

Friday I went to work for the morning to finish the last prep for the first day of school (which is tomorrow...YIKES--I'm crazy tired right now) then around lunch time drove to Lewisville to meet up with Amy at the hotel. All the bridesmaids stayed together in two suites the night before! It was so fun to be all together!

Anyway, when I got there Amy and Jeremy needed to run some last minute errands so I got to play in the pool and get a little sun!!!! Then Amy came back and we got ready for the rehearsal dinner. She surprised be with a Hawaiian Cookbook full of great food that they love on the Islands. I am soooooo excited to try some of the recipes! Oh, the dessert section puts Julia Child's dessert section to SHAME!!! ha!

Amy got ready and head on to Flower Mound to the Chateau something something. French words that I can't remember right now hahaha. It is such a beautiful place! Chapel and reception took place here.

bff Laura and I were reunited! oh joy to my soul. The girl makes us laugh!!!! Did you know that she is running? Like running, running. Like 7 miles running. She is getting so super tiny! I am proud of her!!!!

after lots of hugs the rehearsal began. Amy and Jeremy with Dr. Steve in the background. Dr. Steve is our all time favorite person in our lives. I will talk about him more later!!!

Laughing and talking........I am sure that you will not find it surprising that yours truly got in trouble by the wedding coordinator for talking and NOT paying attention. hahahahaha. I blamed it on Laura because she was making me laugh. I then told the WC I was a teacher and to not worry...I would be perfect during the ceremony ha!

Rehearsal was super easy and fun. We then headed to Abuelos to pig out on some EXCELLENT MEXICAN FOOD! Amy and Jeremy will be living in Hawaii, on the way there as I type, but are in a very rural area on the Big Island. There is NO MEXICAN FOOD to be found. Amy will have a hard time hahahahhaa. The girl loves her fajitas!!!

We said our goodbyes and the girls all headed to our hotel. We changed into pj's and just soaked up some last minute late night girl talk. It will be hard to not be able to meet Amy to shop or eat. Or pick her up and head to OKC to spend the weekend with Laura. I am hoping I can go see them at thanksgiving but we shall see.

We woke up and talked for a long time before Amy got up and started getting ready for her big day!!!!! While she was in the shower I cried. Happy/sad tears because I knew we would say goodbye to her in several hours. My two bff's were no longer in Texas. So hard.

Oh well, God moved them both to Asia at 2 different times during our friendship. He always works thing out! Thank goodness!!!! Here are a few early morning pictures.... hahhh the girls will kill me.....

Once we all showered we hit up Starbucks for some food and serious caffeine. Then to the Chateau place so Amy could get her hair and makeup done. This was about noon......the wedding wasn't till 6.30 pm hahahhahhaha. So we had A LOT of down time to play! ha

One of my favorite morning moments was when I was able to go sit in the chapel, alone, and have my quiet time. No one came in and no one bothered me. It was a special time for me as I did my regular thing and then was able to pray over the chapel and this wedding.

I will stop there for today. I have so much I need to do for tomorrow. I will leave you with a picture I took before her bridals and two of her actual bridals done by the amazing Heather Essian

wow wow wow!!!!!! I can't wait to show you the rest of my pictures!!!!!!!

A few things before I go......

1. Thank you for all the wonderful emails and tweets wishing me a happy birthday! I was so overwhelmed by your kindness and it just made my day!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!

2. 8 other readers decided they would donate to Compassion International so that 8 more mom's and babies could have a safe and delightful birth experience! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!! That makes 9 total moms supported and I could just cry all day about it. As you know, I didn't even know God wanted me to do it till I was writing about doing something else. I never even thought someone would read and then go and sponsor too. That thought never entered my mind and as the emails rolled in I was just overwhelmed with God's goodness!!! And it made for the best birthday EVER!!!!!! I love you all that gave! Thank you. May that money bless way beyond earthly conveniences and be about Kingdom business!!

3. Again, any email, twitter account or comment that does not line up with who I am or what I stand for as a believer in Jesus Christ,......DELETE and Report as spam. And remember....at the end of the day-these people need a Savior. I told a friend that they are playing on the losing team and don't even know it. Those that have the time to attack others need to know and experience the Grace/Love of God. Most of us reading belong to Him and sometimes forget that evil will exist till God comes and collects His bride. I long for that day. Until then, I pray that those who are so clearly hurting would encounter a Christ that makes them new and takes all their hate/negative energy/stalker tendances/evil plans and transforms that into GOOD....and USES IT FOR HIS GLORY. not satan's. So be in prayer over these that lurk. I know who I am, what I believe, and where I am going when this life is over. I know that Father is protecting me and others as we fight the good fight. I pray He would put others in the lives of these hurting people to help set them free. BECAUSE HE IS ABLE! PRAISE GOD!

I hope you had a restful weekend!

I will see you soon! I love you very much!
