Hi...this is random because of the drugs
Ok so I have been on twitter all week with updates but every time I tried to blog I just got overwhelmed.
Drugs will do that to you.
That is why we just say no friends.
I will be glad to be pain free soon. This is probably the worst post i have ever written hahhaha i just can't help it with these meds ha. Good news is that I have lost 5 lbs... AMAZING and since my 29th birthday is Tomorrow, I think God threw the loss in as a bonus present! ha!
Amy gets married this coming Sat evening so I am glad to have less teeth, feeling somewhat thinner, and rocking out my new age of 29 and lookin fine! hahahahhaha. jk
we'll talk about my age later.
...the wisdom teeth came out. next 2 pics were taken while in the chair...that is what i call "blog devotion".
So, as you all know, I have the greatest mom in the whole world. seriously. The kind of mom that stops what she is doing and comes to you in your time of need! She went above and beyond this past week. I could not have made it without her. Oh how naive i was to think i would be ok within 24 hours. ha! Almost a week later and still not 100%. So strange to me. Anywho, here are some pics before and after the surgery...
ok, reason #295792579275923457 why i have been blowing twitter up all week is because you only have 140 characters. Since i can't focus, it has been perfect for me. This pic below takes some explaining but I just don't have it in me to do so........here is the short version. I woke up from the surgery SOBBING....like my entire body was sobbing for a long time. They kept telling me it was due to the drugs but because I couldn't talk (with all that junk in my mouth) I just kept sobbing. FULL BODY. I needed to share why I was crying and was getting frustrated. Anyway, still under heavy drugs and in the car, I signed to mom that i need a paper and pen......
I did. Not His face but His presence. He said He loved me and as they were trying to wake me up I was talking with Him. I didn't want to wake up and that is why I was crying. Don't care if you don't believe me...it happened and it was a feeling of love I had never experienced before. Lots of crazy stuff happens when they put people under...i thought i was going to come out saying funny things but I didn't. I just wanted Jesus when I opened my eyes. It was crazy and I know I sound like an alien but He was with me and let me know it. It was a special thing for me.
They did not take me to a recovery room and brought me to my mom almost immediately after they finished. She said that I scared her because I was still so sedated that I held my body like I was deformed in some way. She cried. Bless her heart. So sweet.
We got home, rested and then did a lot of milkshake drinking and movie watching....
Mom stayed with me till Thursday and I am so grateful. Wed night we ventured out and did some birthday shopping!!!! I found 2 new dresses and was so excited...then I crashed from exhaustion! Friday, I needed to get out of the house and went to get my hair cut short....
jake made me a paint brush bouquet and I just loved it! What a perfect surprise for an art teacher!!!!!! Precious....and such a great idea! I should decorate more with all my paint brushes.
Speaking of surprises...Blog friends Lauren and Courtney
sent me an early birthday present this weekend and I was just SOOOOO OVERJOYED!!!!!!! I LOVE MAIL!!!!!!!!!!

We all did the Ruth summer study and so they added some of these little cards in the box! I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!
and the BIGGEST SURPRISE...........the bought me a BEAUTIFUL CLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, it matches my house just perfect and I was so excited. Crazy enough, I don't have clocks in my house anywhere...well minus the stove and microwave. I have no idea why and I have said several times that I needed a clock and they sent me one! Oh it just made my day!!!!
Courtney and Lauren------girls, you are just to much. I had such a weird/sleepy/painful/crazy week and this little package of joy brightened my spirits. Thank you for thinking of me. It just makes my heart full that you would do such a sweet thing for me! love you!
I will leave you with some other random pics from the summer.... some from my phone and others of the soon to be Mr. and Mrs.
Going back to work today was so hard. I love being at home but I have a feeling it is going to be a great year. Remember that the Lord told me to stay and establish. So for the first time, in awhile, I am going to look at work in a different way.
Back to work, birthday, wedding........Big week for me and for my group of friends so hope you look forward to wedding pics galore hahaha. It is going to be a beautiful wedding!!!Love you, sorry it took me forever to post. off to write a "heart post".

Sunday was church and sunday night...I met up with Dom, Chels, Amy, Jeremy and Jake for some mexican food! It was a fun night and I was glad to get out of the house. Sadly I was one taco short most of the time due to the medicine. boo! But it was nice to be with everyone!
and prepared a few things for school to start (which started today...yikes))
