Party and Wedding Prep

Oh my word...I am an "over anything" kind of girl which mean I over do everything from pictures on my blog to adding an entire bag of chocolate chips to a pie recipe that calls for a cup or two! ha Dad and I say "double up on the good stuff".....all in moderation, of course hahahha. ha

anywho- this blog is my scrapbook of sorts so I find it hard to leave pictures out. I'm sentimental that way. All that to say that this is one big boy of a picture post! Enjoy......



The thurs night, before the Friday wedding, Mom and I went shopping with my cute cousin Ashley and little Sage. We hit up Anthropologie and then later that afternoon Ashley came over to talk wedding stuff and her colors! She is going to have a beautiful December wedding in a darling location! So excited!

That evening my parents got a group together of their old high school buddies and 2 of my dad's brothers! We met at The Butcher Shop in Germantown and it was really a super fun night!!!!!!

This is Coach Ray...my dad's HS football coach! How neat is that! I love that he came. I have heard a MILLION stories about him and how mean he was and how they have seen grown men put out cigarettes when he walks up out of fear hahahahhahahah. He was a tough coach and it was neat seeing my dad talk with him now that they are both retired football coaches!

and my beautiful cousins........JESSICA (in the middle) and Sarah!!!!!! Oh I had the best time with them! Such a blessing to me and I am SOOOOOOOOO thankful they came so that we could sit by ourselves and really talk! Jessica is a grad from Ole Miss and working in downtown Memphis and Sarah is transferring from Ole Miss to a small art school and I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED FOR HER!!!!! She loves art too!!!! She was freshman in HS when I was teaching my first art class......we are so very similar ha! I am so proud of them both! Girls------you made my night! Such a blessing to have deep conversations with you over a great meal! I LOVE YOU!!!



Friday morning we slept in and enjoyed a very slow morning! Then it was time for MELISSA TO GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aunt Chris asked Mom and I to come early and help do her hair. We were there way before the wedding so I had fun taking all the pre-wedding pictures! Here are some of the decorations ....

this is the grooms table! Dustin's mom decorated the entire thing and I thought it was sooooo cute and funny! He is a huge Titans fan so it was an obvious theme choice......and yes that is his cut out head on the jersey hhahahahha so funny!

Well, at some point the sky turned dark and started to rain. People were brought inside as we were still trying to get pictures done and flowers to all the people. Daddy Bob came back to see his granddaughter in all her glory!

ps...went to Amy's dress fitting this afternoon. She looked beautiful and looked like she had stepped out of a magazine! so elegant!!! we had a fun time and laughed hard than I have in a while! It was fun fun!!
