What is this in the mail????

So I have had NOTHING to write about lately! ha! after that big mama of a post last week I figured you needed a break ha! I am sure an Ezekiel and Adoption posts are soon to follow whenever God decides the time is right. Until then...... I had a great weekend just shopping and relaxing.


It was payday so I treated myself to Mardels where I spent about 3 hours looking at bible studies, literature, and commentaries. I then went to each section of the store. I was just so glad to be there! Is it weird that I see the Little People Shepherds set or Nativity set and still want to play with them like I am little? Can't wait to have kids just so I have an excuse to pretend and make up voices hahah.


Banana Republic was having an amazing sale and I scored a DARLING white button down shirt....i have been looking for the perfect one for years.....well we united and it was cheap! Praise God! ha

Next few days I am getting ready for a blogger friend that is coming to visit (more on that later) and then I am off to Memphis and Arkansas for about 2 weeks.

Today, however, I have been lounging around while this......






has been going on outside. Oh i love a good summer storm! Speaking of love.........

you all know that i love getting stuff in the mail! It is so fun and such a nice change from all the daily junk. Well today I opened the mailbox and spotted a cute little package!!!!! I WAS SOOOO EXCITED and ran into the house so I could sit and open it slowly hahahha.

Precious Molly, that makes all kinds of cute things....

wrote me the sweetest note on the cutest stationary....

and sent a favorite family recipe from her Grandmother!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS SOOOO EXCITED!!!....

Sent me this DARLING bookmark for my bible that she had made for her group of girls she was leading in the Esther by Beth Moore bible study!!!!!! If I perish, I perish....... MIGHTY WORDS FROM A WOMAN!!!! love it

and the I saw this little package of goodness and I could hardly wait to see what is inside!



and there it was...........sigh...the cutest handmade clay flower pin I have ever layed eyes on! IN YELLOW...my fav. Oh my joy was just overflowing all over my living room floor!

Being an artist myself, I have a deep appreciation for things made by hand. Something extra special goes into the process. I know that from experience. It's the act of blessing somebody else with the gifts you have been given. What a great rainy Monday surprise! I am so grateful!!!!
