Thursday with Mom...

Hi friends!!!! Another post about the bikes....and another adventure but this time my Mom was along for the ride. We have matching bikes remember....we got them for Christmas!




My Mom came to see me Thurs morning to go shopping, ride bikes, and spend the night! I was glad to see her!!!! We headed to the square to shop around! I had NEVER been in our AMAZING courthouse....why????....i have no idea because i have taken so many pics of it and people around it. Crazy! Anyway, we decided to go in and look around.

This is one of the 2 court rooms. It is HUGE and OLD and we felt like we were on a movie set hahaaha. It had a balcony too.

We stopped in a few shops and then headed to The Dove's Nest....because we LOVE IT!!! ha! Here is mom being silly

and me. now, this dress is from WAL-MART....$12 and I LOVE IT! I bought it when i got the other shirt (that is the same material)! It is the cutest thing ever and CHEAP! they have it in lots of colors and I will be back to pick up a few more!


After eating we shopped for antiques, went and looked through both homes on Main that they are redoing and then headed to JC PENNEY...another favorite place of ours!

Later that afternoon we came home and rested. I read a few favorite blogger's posts to mom and we just relaxed!


At 7 it was time to break out our darling bikes to hit the road!!!!! Mom looks so cute!!!! She says riding makes her feel like a little girl again!


And we were off..........

We ordered our drinks...

had a little fun...


and then we were on our way to our second major stop.......

The Library on Main

we took pictures, waved at the cars going by, and sipped on our refreshing drinks! It was such a peaceful evening!

Then the sun started to set and we headed back home!

It's fun riding with mom because we like to stop and study what other people are planting in their yards hahahaaha. If a house is for sale we will cruise around it and check it out! So fun!!!!!

We got home, rinsed off, and then enjoyed some homemade blackberry cobbler that my made and we topped it with Blue Bell blackberry cobbler ice cream...YUMMMM that was our dinner hahahahha so good!


Friday morning we had coffee, apple fritters and lounged in my sunroom for a long time just talking and having our bible time! It was wonderful. Then it was time for her to go home! We had the best time together and I am so glad she came to stay!!!!! Love you MOM!!!!!
