I LOVE MY BIKE!

Hello Friends!!! What a beautiful few days we have had here in TEXAS! Now, it has been hot but the wind has been whipping and blowing through my hair just enough to keep my mind from overheating!ha


I have been trying to take daily adventures on my bike. Like last week I told my twitter friends I was heading to sonic to get a drink, then to the park for an antique auction preview, then to the town square to shop and I would end my little outing with a snow cone!!!!!! IT WAS SUCH A FUN DAY!!!! I came back with my close totally wet from sweat but it was a GREAT DAY!!!


So, I decided to take you on a ride with me so that you can see what I see. This is my ride from yesterday evening. I listen to music the entire time I ride. Only rule is that it can't be NEW music. I live in a charming old town and my bike it retro so I like to hear the oldies, big band, and even some of my Dad's rock and roll roots stuff. Oh, I should have been born during another generation friends! ha~

Anyway, post of few words and many pictures. I hope you find Waxahachie as beautiful as I do!

I take a trail behind my house that crosses a small stream to get to another neighborhood. Isn't my little shirt cute. Walmart $10! such a deal and I bought a little sundress too for $12. They have great stuff right now and you know I love a good deal!

I pass by lots of old homes with big porches and people sitting on them. They always wave and it makes me happy!


It is about at this point that I bust out in song.....Oh beautiful for spacious skies for amber waves of grain

Sorry, I can't help but sing that song when I am riding around. This town just makes me really patriotic! I would love to drive an old restored car like below. WOULD LOVE IT! Can't you see me riding around town, flower in my hair and driving one. Ha!


I go through the town square, check out the shops and then get on Main Street...

I ride to the park, turn around and head all the way back home a happy girl......

I really hope I marry someone that will get a bike and ride with me hahahhaha! I love it that much!!!!! Wind in your hair and it amazes me how people smile, wave, or stop and want to talk to you. It is just a fun thing for me...not to mention GREAT EXERCISE!!!! and I am soooooo thankful my parents gave it to me for Christmas!!!!!!

Now time to go eat some brownies right out of the oven!
