Blog Friend Visit

You all know...



and after my love for "God writing through me" is the MAJOR fact that.....



It thrills me to chit chat on twitter all day long with my friends from all over...friends that i first met blogging... before twitter existed and we had to email. Now we get to talk all the time! LOVE IT! It is so fun to be able to read their thoughts on each blog.... and how their families grow or what they are up to. Having a blog is a gift, I think. A sweet gift from God...a gift that I had NO IDEA would include dear friends!

I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR YOU THAT READ!!!!

So you can just imagine my joy when Lauren called me...

with a little plan to fly down and stay with me for the weekend. She and I have SO MUCH IN COMMON! I'll sum it up with a quote from one of her emails..."we are living the same lives but in different states!" Amen to that. Same age, both teachers, both great relationships with our parents, both single...on and on and on.

Awhile ago she asked if I would do the Summer bible study Ruth, by Kelly Minter, with her. I was so happy she asked because the study I had planned on doing is not coming out till October and that left me without a summer study. I must say that i have finished the first week of Ruth and I AM LOVING IT!!!!! I find Kelly refreshing!!


Anyway, Lauren and I will get to met for the first time and talk about the first week of study together face to face! It will be perfect!


She flies into Dallas tomorrow and we will eat downtown, Friday check out First Monday in Canton, Saturday is the Crape Myrtle Festival in Waxahachie with fireworks that night, Sunday church...nap hopefully hahhaha and the rest I am not sure. We will just let the wind blow us around!
