OVERFLOW meaning.....
I'm sure you knew this post was coming. I can not possibly hear a word or phrase like "Party in the Overflow" without sitting in my big, fluffy chair saying "overflow, overflow, overflow" over and over trying to grasp what it really means on a deeper level.
So by sat morning I had to do a word study on it because I knew God was not just into the "really fun title" of our Atlanta weekend. I knew that to many people were able to come and to many wonderful things were falling into place.......and party in the overflow would not just be about a million bloggers together in a chapel. I knew that God had something to share beyond that.
Side note before I move on. I have been under spiritual attack ever since I posted about the conference on Friday. So many wonderful things have been happening but so many Satan driven things have been happening as well. I just want you all to be aware and ON GUARD both mentally and spiritually while we wait for April to come. Because the thought of unbelievers, new believers or deeply spiritual believers getting together makes satan SICK! He is already moving,working, causing strife and discord in several places. From past experience I can guarantee that he will do whatever he can to stop us or STEAL OUR JOY..(which has been where he is trying to hit me) or have others around us really discourage our decision to go meet strangers in another city!
LET ME SAY THIS BOLDLY AND CLEARLY..........WE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST AND THERE WILL BE NOT ONE STRANGER AMONG US ......believer or nonbeliever!!!!!
DO YOU HEAR ME? NOT ONE..... and don't you dare let yourself believe the lie that you don't really need to go. YOU DO and we are so excited to meet you!!
I had another terrible day at work. I can see that satan is using some of my best kids to get at me! I know it! His ugly style is all over them. And you know what, I came home and went to war against him in my prayer time! I did not back down and I even yelled out my personal scriptures, for attacks, at him. Because I am not about to play around with him. God is over me....satan is NOT! He is God over my students, God over that classroom, God over this conference and I am not willing to just let satan walk in and take over! NO WAY! Jesus said "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)". John 10:10
Did you catch that......"that we may have life"...in abundance till we OVERFLOW....does that verse above not fit perfectly with what I am dealing with or what you might soon deal with? AMEN. i love scripture! Please know that I am committed to praying for this trip, the conference, and ever women of every age that will be there!

I have written about the overflow before in one of my very first posts. Great word since this trip will not be about just meeting friends but meeting God...maybe some of us even for the first time. MEETING GOD .....now that is something we need to be really excited about.

to be filled to the point of running over
to be FILLED or SUPPLIED with in GREAT MEASURE ...heart overflowing
Hebrew dictionary said-
Male'- verb is used to signify filling something to the full extent of what is NECESSARY, in the sense of being "SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE"
another use of the word is "filling to overflowing"-but not just filling up to the limits of something but filling so as to go beyond its limits.
ARE YOU SEEING WHAT I AM SEEING??????? We will literally be in the overflow chapel, we are going to overflow in excess and superabundance getting to be ALL together, and God will have something to teach us that will make us MORE COMPLETE....to fill us up in a way that we didn't even know was necessary! Taking us to a place in our spiritual walk that is BEYOND the LIMITS of what we think HE CAN DO IN AND THROUGH US!!!!!!
More complete........in every way....a REAL GOD PARTY IN THE OVERFLOW ...and that thought brings me to the book.
So Long Insecurity. I am in the middle of chapter 8 and I would STRONGLY suggest that you read this book before you come to Atlanta. I think it will help prepare your heart and head for what we will learn. I have laughed, cried, been convicted of sin, and I have been so BLESSED!!!!
I will give you a small sample from chapter 2, pg 15..Beth says in talking about how we all have insecurities.."The question is whether or not our insecurities are substantial enough to hurt, limit, or even distract us from PROFOUND EFFECTIVENESS OR FULFILLMENT OF PURPOSE."
Wow right??? Do our insecurities keep us from producing fruit and being used by GOD????? This book is really good. I would describe it as the most "raw" Beth I have ever seen...if that makes sense. It is totally different than her other books in style and feels like a conversation. It is so honest and at the same time an easy read. It will relate WITH EACH OF US in a different way. It is so real and I am thankful for it!
Jenna and I know this Atlanta trip is not about the people at the party but about all the healing, freedom, and redemption that others will experience so that they OVERFLOW AT THE PARTY! AMEN
We are beyond grateful for all that are getting to come to Atlanta! What a blast it will be! Now go get your book and start reading! See you in 70 something days ha!
Father, I ask in Jesus name that you would cause each of us to overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit! There is so much you desire to do in us and to heal in us. I praise you that this one word has BIG power. You alone fill up our cups and you alone let our love for YOU overflow onto others. You alone. I praise you that our walk with you is not about limits but about you going BEYOND THE LIMITS. That you do not just love us or forgive us to a certain point and then stop.NO! Your love goes beyond and beyond! Oh, it will defiantly be a party in the overflow because I am trusting that you have BIG PLANS for me and the ladies. I trust that you will cause us to overflow through worship, through the Word, and through great fellowship. Thank you that you have made a way for us financially. Protect us now, in Jesus Name, from all enemy plots and plans to side track us or to steal our joy! Fight for us! I love you and I praise you that you would even turn your ear to me! I so look forward to being in the overflow and hearing 2000 women's voices singing "Worth is the Lamb"! amen amen!
ps.......UPDATE.... i wrote this out last night. Just finished at school and it was a great day! PRAYER CHANGES EVERYTHING! THANK YOU LORD FOR A BETTER DAY!!!! I am so very grateful for you grace and mercy.
