MUSIC....

I am SUPER PUMPED to introduce you to Hughes-Nollner.

As many of you know, from past posts, that when my Dad retired from football he put down his play notebook and picked up his song writing notebook. He had never written before but once his mind was free to think outside the box.... HE HAS NOT STOPPED! I honestly do not ever remember a time that my dad did not have a ruled paper tablet in his hands. Whether he was writing out his Sunday School lesson or drawing out plays........he always had his paper near.

And now he is writing and the more he does the better and better his songs get!

IT IS SO MUCH FUN!

These two have been friends since childhood. They played football together and were even in a band together in high school. Oh the stories they tell when we all get together. I have ALWAYS LOVED my parent's friends. I can remember being a little girl and LOVING every moment of listening to their conversations about growing up!

We get together with the Nollner's every Christmas. Before they started collaborating together, they would just have jam sessions. Mike is a music enthusiasts and has this amazing set up in his music room! He is always working on writing music.......while dad writes lyrics! SEE...a perfect team!

This Christmas I was able to get some fun pictures of them! I have doctored them up since they now have a great website! I thought I would make them look really cool! hahahaha! I have had so much fun and made them "pretend" concert posters hahahahha! This is so right up my alley!

But we always have a great time together! Music is such a big part of my family...that and laughing loud ha!

and because this is the sweetest gift a Dad could ever give his single daughter.....aside from being her Spiritual leader....I share this song with you that Dad wrote to be played at my wedding some day. There is one more verse, that I will not hear, until that day! Isn't that the most precious thing! I cry every time. This was one of the very first songs he wrote! Nothing is more tender to my heart than to here the thoughts of how my Dad loves me or how he sees me. This song is precious and I love you Dad for your sweet words!!

HOPE YOU ENJOYED!!!!!!!!!! I survived the drive to school today in ice. Glad that tomorrow is Friday. I have a "NO PLANS" weekend to look forward to. I hope to get caught up on laundry and finish my posts about Christmas! I have some fun photos!
