Christmas Decor.....

Ok, photobucket did not like me yesterday so I was not able to finish getting my Christmas pics ready for you to see. BUT NOW THEY ARE READY!!!!!!

As you are well aware of............I am completely obnoxious in every way........especially when it comes to describing anything or showing pictures of something. I just want you to get a real feel for things. Call it a flaw or a blessing...either way I hope you will enjoy this post!!!!!

Because of my "OVER-DO ANYTHING" tendencies...this is just my outside, entry, kitchen with tree and dining room.

Merry Christmas and welcome to my home!
I am so glad to see your sweet face! haha

This is my kitchen tree from outside. I did not have a tree here last year and I must say I LOVE IT! I had really, really, really wanted to add deer outside this year.....but sadly my vacuum died and my deer money went to the new vacuum which is not nearly as fun or exciting as fake deer in the yard with white lights.....hahahahahaha

This is my entry way that that is long and wide so you can see the dining room a little bit, the living room, and the sunroom kinda.

My buffet in the entry way....this year I left my painting and blue china things on there.

and added red berries, lights, and a few poinsettias

this is just a little space between the kitchen and dining room....i would some red berries for the top of the bookshelf.

I did not really change my little antique dresser in the kitchen this year. Put the angel up and manger scene with twinkle lights.

HELLO LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this is my new BIBLE CHRISTMAS TREE!

Oh it just brings me joy looking at it.

I dropped down one side of my table to have room and it fits just perfect.

my centerpiece......and because I love everything blue china or spode-ish.....

and the tree would be next to my blue painting.....

I just knew that my tree colors needed to be shades of blue, pearl, white and a few yellow gold to make it feel kitchen-ish!
see my little white doves on top!

ok....so what is a bible tree? Well, when I was first thinking about adding another tree I knew I wanted it to be really personal to me. I wanted scriptures, parts of hymns and praise songs all over it.

Our God is the GREAT I AM!

One weekend I was home with Mom and Dad. We headed to hobby lobby and found an entire section of GLASS ORNAMENTS (my favorite) of things from the bible.........................
i about PASSED OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are so perfect on this tree. What is even better is that each one comes with scripture so I wrote the references on the bottoms of each one.

Three Kings with baby Jesus

Light of the World

Dove, Ark, Rainbow, Olive Branch........says "God Keeps His Promises"
CAN I GET AN AMEN!!!!!!!!! I mean, I look at this one ornament after a long day and honestly my spirit is lifted friends!

Be Unto Your Name
.......i made this one to remember a really wonder moment I experienced during Laura and Daniel's wedding. We sang this during the praise and worship time and I mean I could feel Him fill that sanctuary UP!

The Ark

I made a ton of sequin ornaments this year.....here is one...they are cute in person but my camera just refused to capture the cuteness ha!

Jesus Loves the Little Children
......oh this is so sweet...they are leaning on him and his eyes are closed!

Opened bookish thing with manger scene that says.....

"On a starry night in Bethlehem a
miracle occurred that would
change the world...."

Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus

Oh man I love this one......Ask, Seek, Knock...... "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you". Luke 11.9

see the little girl knocking, the other girl praying and the little boy looking through the scope in his hand......oh what a great ornament that is not only pretty but biblical! I LOVE IT!

There are more but I will not bore you to death. Last two pics are just of my dining room. I added the candle sticks that are usually by the fire place and if you look underneath the flowers you will see round balls of glitter. This is the one major theme in my house. I started doing this years ago.....

glitter + glue + Styrofoam balls = cheap, shiny decoration!

I put them EVERYWHERE!!!!!!

and I just put some ornaments on the chandelier thing....I love how people but ribbon and stuff but my normal decor is gold, red, lots of patterns and gaudy so at Christmas I have to be careful or my house would look like a circus! but i may add that next year hahahahaha

So that is the first part! I know, I know......obnoxious but I wanted you to really understand how great my bible tree is. I mean, I walk over to it all the time and just read one of the ornaments and I either burst out into song or say the scripture! What a great reminder for me!

Merry Christmas friends!

Hope you sleep soundly and peacefully tonight!

love you!
