Thanksgiving in Round Rock....

Hello everyone!

Friday afternoon and I am still in my pj's! Slept in and have been lazy ever since. I love today!!!! No crazy shopping for this girl...just not my style hahahahha but if you are out and about....I hope you didn't run anybody over trying to get a great deal....if you did that would be a really funny post! ha just kidding...SAFETY FIRST WOMEN!!!!!

So here is my recap in photos......

Mom and Dad came to Waxhachie to pick me up to head to my sister Dixie's new house in Round Rock. They also got to see my house all decorated for Christmas which was fun for me!

Mom and I had many "photo shoots" within a 24hr period so bare with me ha!!!! we were trying to get some extra "christmas card photo" canidates hahaha...this is my new flower clip for the hair and I LOVE IT!!!!!!

The drive was super easy and we were at Dixie and George's house before we knew it.....

That evening I ate my first grilled Turkey Burger EVER>>>>>>> and i was shocked at how good it was!!!! YUM! Then George made us a fire......

and I played dress up with mom......made her wear a flower headband ha

this pic reminds me of what i looked like as a child...something about it. Anyway, I love to do my hair big with curls but the curling iron i use takes FOREVER...well, I went and bought small hot rollers and in ten minutes my hair looks the same (or better) than it does with the 45 min curl job!!!! I was soooooooooooooooooooo excited! I LOVE HOT ROLLERS!!!!!!

then we played Clue...the new one...i love this game but still think the old one is my MYSTERIOUS!!!!!

The next morning they were all up bright and early getting things ready!!!!

They have a screened in porch that was sooooooo perfect for us to be able to eat outside! OOOOO I love me a screened in porch!!!!!!!

I made roasted pecans.....some normal, some dipped in chocolate!!!!! YUM

The lovely hosts of the occasion. We usually do not have Thanksgiving with Dixie but since this was their first year in a new house it was fun to go down and spend the day with George's family.

George's parents and sister...they are really funny. They all played Apples to Apples and I got so tickled listening to them. Funny people!!!!
