The Stamps in El Salvador
Summer of 08 I was in the middle of buying a house and in Tokyo Japan at the same time. I can remember laying in bed, the second night, praying to God saying " I CAN'T DO THIS...I can't lead this group and I have so much going on at home Lord!" This verse below is the verse that the Holy Spirit spoke over me that night.
I had 13 more days in Tokyo and this verse gave me a holy desire that is beyond anything I have ever experienced. I was overwhelmed with the task in front of me....even though I LOVE MISSIONS AND LOVE MISSION TRIPS.....but God said "Caroline I have chosen you to go and share...not this person or that person...I have the closing of your house in my control and you need not worry. Just do the job!"
And that trip changed me.
So I am praying the verse, below, over Scott and Kelly as well as the rest of the El Salvador Compassion group. I said this verse every time I was about to go into a situation or talked with someone. I said this verse multiple times during the day and it kept my mind on the fact that GOD IS IN CONTROL AND THAT HE SENT ME THERE FOR HIS PURPOSE! I pray God gives this El Salvador group opportunity after opportunity to do HIS work and that they CHOOSE not to let the opportunities go by!
Lord, we give you all the Glory and Honor and Praise that we have inside of us! WORTHY IS THE LAMB! Worthy are you! Use these people in El Salvador to make your name and your unconditional love FAMOUS! Pour out your fragrance through them and make them draw others in! Open up doors for them to minister to those hurting from the hurricane! We trust that you will use them! I love you and thank you in advance for this adventure you are taking them on!
