So, what have I been up to all week......... well the most excited thing that has happened, minus my $10 off at JC PENNEY for some new colored tights to wear, is what came in the mail on Monday afternoon...............

That's right.......not only did my wonderful National Geographic and my ever exciting Southern Living BUT ALSO A LETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked down at the letter is sweet surprise....."who could this be from????????"

Now you must know that I ended Monday with a fever of 100 and by the time I got home I knew is was getting straight up sick...tear... this letter lifted my spirits........

but it was the verse that gave me JOY.....



Oh that Jenna Babe...................does she have good timing or what! JENNA, you encourage me so! I love dear friend and thank you for this precious card!

and more of this.......my fire place got a workout and my big comfy chair in my sun room got a lot of snuggle time!!!!

Yes, I have been sick. On Wed I finally took a half day to rest up because I am headed to Oklahoma City today after school to be with Amy and Laura.

Anyway, I must say that Redeeming Love is so much better the second time. Of course, I loved it the first time because it ministered to me....the second time it taught me about ministering to others. I found that so refreshing. Word on the street is that they are making Redeeming Love into a movie.........I'm torn a little......I hope they do a good job.

I must also say that, as good as Redeeming Love is, I find some of Francine Rivers others books just as good if not BETTER!

All of her short and sweet books about women in the Bible are FANTASTIC! You can read them in a day! Ruth, Tamar, Bathsheba, Mary, Rahab.................oh my, they make the bible come ALIVE! and if you want a super special Christmas this year.......read "Mary" during the holidays and to hear some fictional thoughts from Joseph and Mary just makes you love and appreciate our God that much more!

So, I would love to share more but I have to hurry and post this before I hit the road. So glad to visit another state. I know I will come home with cute pictures to share. I have enjoyed not posting this week since I had such little energy. I am feeling much better and could explode if I don't share soon....love you dear friends and have a safe weekend!
