Labor Day Football...days later ha!
Yes, I know. Labor Day was last week and I am just now getting these pictures up. I start to feel bad if I don't get them on the blog after awhile.....example: great lake and birthday pics that have yet to see the light of day.
BUT.....I am going to stop feeling bad. Because life is busy and the time to sit and edit is not always available and that is a whole other post my friends.
For those of you that do not follow me on twitter and are not aware of my daily happenings ha.....I had the amazing opportunity to attend a Christian Writers Conference all day yesterday. I will be writing about that this weekend so you can hear what God is up too.
Until then....back to last Monday. Our old friends, The Baker's, have a son that is a senior football player at Euless Trinity and they got to play in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. In fact, it was the first ever football game to be played in there. Super fun. So I drove over to the stadium.....

to watch Brandon...#49 and

to help his precious little mom, Janet

and his dad, Rick, cheer the team on!

I also meet up with Mom, Dad, Bert and his daughter Dori!
Now for a little history. All three families meet up in Mineola,Tx back in the 80's. My dad was almost 30 and had received his first Head Coach/Athletic Director job for the Mineola Yellowjackets! Bert was the Music Minister at First Baptist Church and has been till last week when he retired. Mom sang in his choir and his daughters became our best friends.
Dori and I bonded at Mother's Day Out! hahahhah in fact Dori got in trouble a lot hahahhahhaha and we were in the same class for one year then I turned 4 and moved up. We only lived there 3 years but we have continued to get together over as we got older! I will have to find you pictures of us ages 3-5 to show yall ha. We have all stayed in touch over the 25 years of knowing each other!

here are the screens that have been in the news a lot. I LOVE THEM!!!!!! makes the game so much cooler!

Dad checking out the stadium

Trinity choir sand the National Anthem....it was so beautiful.....

but the only flag they had was on the screen and to be honest I don't care if a flag is small but there should always be THE REAL THING SOMEWHERE PRESENT. just my opinion.

mom looking cute as she looks for our friends

They are called the Trinity Trojans but they do the trinity triangle hand sign when it is kick off time. I love that....Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...that is what I kept thinking every time I saw it.

guys watching some good football. They were playing a top ranked team from Utah.

Dori and I

Trinity won and we were glad! It was great to see old friends again. We have loved the Balls and the Bakers for so long! They are very special to us!!!!!!!
ok, it has been raining since yesterday and I am off to finish up my current post about service and SAYING "NO" hahahahhaha. Love you all. Promise that my posts will be much better soon. I have not had much time to write and have told God that He has free reign to come and remove whatever activities or events in my life that take my time away from Him and what He wants to say to everyone. I know He is faithful to honor that.
Stay Dry.
Love you friends and thank you for being faithful to read. Blesses me everyday!
