oh how I have wanted to write several times this week but just did not have the energy after a long day to sit and look at the computer. I thank you all that prayed for me and the teachers all over our country. This week was good and interesting all at the same time. I am so thankful for those of you that sent very personal prayers over me in email. What a blessing that was and what a honor it was for me! Thank you very much.
It is Sunday afternoon and I have so much I want to post about. In fact, I have never finished posting my amazing photos from July and my Arkansas trip..........there are many that I will add this week like this......

ha! that was a shot of me climbing the mountain alone for the first time! It was incredible! I will tell that story soon.
But for now, I would like to give my praises where praise are due. There is something completely amazing when we refuse to take another step without God. When I wrote last Sunday I was desperate for God to work in and through me. YES......i could have made it through the week had I been forced. YES....I could have made it through the week by myself. But that is not the life God has for us. Of course, we can do and work through our own strength but Father never intended that to be so for His children. He likes being the hero in our lives...during our most desperate moments and boy was He my hero this week. I refused to go a day without Him all over me and my classroom. Every morning I invited Him in to my room and said that I would not take my eyes off Him, for even a second, because I needed His presence in my life. And I hung on for dear life as each new day began.....and He is right when He says that there is safety under His wing!
I serve a very Good God!
A God that is pulling me in a million different directions as I speak but giving me new strength each morning and new strength with each new assignment He lays before me. So much I want to share but the time is just not right. So I am posting an old Hymn that God began to sing over me last Sunday evening and every morning I woke up this past week. I'm serious, my first thoughts, in the morning, the last 7 days has been this hymn.
I cry every time I read each stanza because I feel like it could be the anthem of my life........as I read each old prayer journal my soul continue to sing.."Have Faith in God, HE'S ON HIS THRONE, Have faith in God, He watches oer His own,......HE CAN NOT FAIL, HE MUST PREVAIL, Have faith in God, have faith in God".
Our God CAN NOT FAIL. Does that bring comfort to you or what? Second stanza says "Have faith in God when your PRAYERS GO UNANSWERED, YOUR EARNEST PLEA HE WILL NEVER FORGET".........Did you need to hear that word today? He can not fail, He must prevail.........each line speaks deeply to my soul and I hope it does the same for you. Do not leave this blog without reading every word below. It might not be for your current season but I bet you know someone that needs a new song to sing. An old hymn that speaks directly to what some of us have been through or going through.
Have faith in God, friend. He is watching, He does hear your every plea, cry, and laughter.......do not give up! HE IS WORKING and He can do A MIRACLE THROUGH YOU!

Father I am not sure about all the things you are putting before me at this time. So I just cling to your Word because I know you will lead me in the right directions and I know that the longer I serve you the sweeter YOU GROW! I thank you that you stalked me with this song this week. I sometimes wish people knew that side of you. How tender it is to wake up in the morning with you playing a hymn in my mind OVER AND OVER about how wonderful you are. You did not even give me a SECOND to think on other things....you wanted my mind only on you! Oh you make me laugh. I could not have forgotten these words even if I tried. You are on your throne....you never leave it. Because you are perfect you never fail.....your living Word is perfect and it never fails. I thank you that you are always the MOST STABLE and consistent part of me. I thank you for reminding me that I have nothing to fear when it comes to my job or how you call me to serve. You speak clearly through me every time. You have gone before me and grant me the victories that bring you glory. Thank you that I never walk into my classroom alone. You are always there and I do not have to fear...........YOU ARE MY GOD and that is all that matters. So allow each heart to really understand what this hymn is saying. Sing it personally to them and bring comfort or change to those that desperately need it........and we will give you ALL GLORY and ALL HONOR and Praise! I love you so much! amen.
