Mom I am so excited for you to be finished with teaching and now able to be retired with Dad! Yall are so young and alive and this is the beginning of a new journey......another chapter in the Hughes WILD adventures. What a great adventure it has been thus far and I praise God for that.

I am so proud of you Mom. I know you are the most amazing High School math teacher because I had you for geometry and what fun that we had! I think that your school counselor said it best.........

The truth is that you love deeply, pray over your students, work very hard, pour yourself into each student, strive for excellence, refuse to break rules to be popular and DEMAND YOUR STUDENTS TO STEP UP AND LEARN! I know you won't look back and miss teaching...heck i was ready to retire after my first year hahah jk....but know that you are loved and appreciated by all your students.......young and old.....especially by the football players doing math work up in the stands before a game so they could play!!!!! ha!
