HELLO SUN, I LOVE HOW YOU MAKE ME SO TAN!

We are back....tear. After 8 beautiful days of not making your bed, having the room cleaned twice a day, food everywhere you turn...including the midnight buffets, and dancing the night away in the little dance club........I'm sad it is over. Very sad!

WE HAD A GREAT TIME!

Many funny stories and adventures to tell. Plus I might have gone a little crazy with my new camera and maybe kinda took 1500ish pictures...oops! But as I have been editing them I am loving what we got.

HOWEVER:::::::::::::::::::::::::: i spent 6 hours yesterday getting them resized and fixed and now when I put them on this post they are HUGE........and this time it is not on purpose. I have so many to share that this is going to drive me crazy.

so forgive me that they are to big and know that I just don't have the energy to go back through every one and resize again! ok.........hope you still love me despite my technical issues hahah! also...this is long because it is 4 days worth of pics! Grab some dessert and take a look! ha!


Friday: I had to work on friday and then zoomed up to Addison to pick up Leanne, have lunch, and then arrive at my parents to celebrate Dad's 55th birthday with grilled hamburgers and German Chocolate cake!!!! yum yum...

Friday was also my mom's last day of WORK EVER and she received two different plaques. One for her years of service and the other on because she was made TEACHER OF THE YEAR AT HER SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a great surprise for her and well deserved!

She also was given this beautiful rocking chair from the Supernatant with the district's name and mascot! Also a lovely surprise and so thoughtful!

We went to bed real early that night so that we could be up at 3:55 am to get ready to catch our flight!

Sat and First Night at Dinner:

The only crazy thing that we encountered on our trip was when I had gotten up to go to the bathroom on the plane. There was an older man in front of my as we walked to the back. All of the sudden he begins to kind of sway and before I know it I am catching his head and helping him to the ground! He passed out on me and once I set him down I looked up at all the people in shock staring at me and said..."I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, I don't know what to do!" within a second several reached for the attend button and someone yelled "we need a doctor!" I turn around and the attendant yells "code blue" and a woman says..."well I am a nurse".......and I say " perfect, come here!".....................I was in shock.

I also froze which is not my personality in a crisis situation but I was behind him and looking at him upside down so I just didn't know. Anyway, he was out for awhile and I got to go to the bathroom in the first class section. They got him up and another man gave up his first class seat so that he could sit comfortably and I believe that was the most thoughtful thing ever. Exciting jump start to a vacation! ha!

To hop on our Carnival Freedom Ship! This was my third cruise and by far one of the biggest and best layout of the other ships.

We got checked in, checked out our rooms, ate....of course....and then that night got all cleaned up to enjoy our very first night out on the town.........I mean ship!

side note: we took pre-dinner pics and pics at the table every night. I will put them all on here really for us to remember........i realize that by the end of this week you will not want to see my face again due to all the pics.......sorry, just bare with me hahahahahahaah this is my scrapbook ok!

First night at our Dining room table. It was just the 4 of us this cruise at our table. At first we were disappointed because we wanted to meet other people but it ended up being really fun and painless since we didn't have to make constant small talk.

Sunday, First Full day at sea and Dinner:

Oh how we loved laying out and watching people! Sunday we were at sea and just stayed outside the entire time!

Dinner that night was dress up night where everyone puts on their fancy clothing and there is a great broadway show after dinner and lots of things going on! THese are my FAVORITE nights because I love dressing up! love it, love it, love it! This night they had a pre-dinner party that was hosted by the captain with dancing and fun!

WE LOVE THE SHOWS!!!!!!!! On this night they were so good with dancing and singing and fireworks and streamers shooting out at us at the end! Oh the one thing I love about cruising..........dinner and a show each night is my cup of tea!

Carnival is know for their towel animals that they put on your bed each night while you are at dinner! They are so cute and fun!


Monday, 2nd day at sea and dinner:

we again spent the day outside, at the sauna.....which is my new favorite thing, eating and of course napping in our COLD PITCH BLACK ROOM!!!!!!!!!!

At dinner.....ps I forgot to tell you that we were upstairs so we could stare down and spy on other tables and try to figure them out! If you are a people watcher..........GOING ON A CRUISE PUTS A WHOLE YEAR OF PEOPLE WATCHING AT THE MALL TO SHAME!!!!!!

That night there was a Salsa party up on the deck with food and lots of dancing.....however i wore the wrong dress and pretty sure it whipped up one to many times for me. Showing my panties to the world in not my idea of fun! ha!

ok so that catches you up to our first stop in Panama! I will post about that tomorrow because THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE STOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing and I can't wait to share! Missed you all, feel very behind in what the blog world has been up to, and thanks for praying for us! We were so protected!
