Weekend Fun
This is me...a very happy girl to be dressed up and ready for a fun night in North Dallas with my dear friend Leanne. Wish you would have seen me 1 hour before this pic...SCARY...I really didn't do a thing yesterday afternoon but frame a painting, hang it in my guest room and well...that is it! ha! it was just wonderful!

So, do to big plans that were canceled for the weekend I was wondering what I would do sat night. Leanne called and asked if wanted to meet her Sat night to eat and go see her darling little 8th grade girls, from the small group she leads at church, in a play in Highland Park. I said yes of course because if you feed me I will come! Ha! seriously!
and me looking like a ghost next to Leanne!!! Wow.
We both teach and always have funny stories to tell. We love food and more importantly....we love good Ranch dressing! So we went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory and Leanne introduced me to MAYBE THE BEST RANCH EVER PEOPLE!!!! OH MY OH MY...i had to control myself from not picking up the little thing and licking it clean. I KID YOU NOT. But I refrained due to the people right next to us hanging on our every word and laughing at all the pictures we were taking. I, of course, turned and informed them it was "for the blog" and they seem to understand completely. ha!
I ordered the Louisiana Chicken Pasta-extra spicy and was in hog heaven! It was divine and I think I might have Leanne hooked too!!! yes!!!!
me enjoying their tea with the orange in it! yum!
Leanne ordered pizza and it looked SOOOOOO GOOOD!!!!!! Plus as an artist I was so in love with the box it goes home in! so cute

It was a good night with great fellowship. The night before I had been sad and missing a friend that is in another country that I can't just pick up the phone and call her. So I was some what down but between Leanne and another friend I have not stopped laughing and I am so grateful! Church was really good this morning and I also have another post to write today about different bloggers out there that God really wants me to bring attention to. Something He has been talking to me about for awhile. If they are about Him and encourage me then I am sooooo willing to write on their behalf! This is a new thing for me so I am excited to see how God wants me to address it! oh the mystery of walking in the Faith. I just love every bit of it! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and enjoy some good food on this Super Bowl Sunday.........ps. how much does it bless you to have big time people (players/coaches) speak out BIG TIME ABOUT THEIR FAITH IN OUR GOD????? man, oh man.......To God be all the Glory and Honor and Praise. Praying for the ears that might hear the GOOD NEWS tonight! Eat big, yell loud and have a wonderful time! Go Cardinals hahaha! Love you friends!

Here is beautiful Leanne! Friends since we were in 5th grade and met in Sunday School! We both wore BIG BOWS and had loud/bold/funny/obnoxious personalities.....so we were instant friends! hahahhaha!

So then we headed over the Middle school to get our seats for the play..."Ye Olde Fractured Faerie Tales". But first I wanted to go snoop around the school and check out the art room...i always like to do that!
Here is some of the amazing 7 and 8th grade work in the halls...

you know I love anything Asian and these pieces of art work were amazing!
Then we went in and took our seats. i was next to a girl and her friend that attend the school. I told them we were teachers and proceeded to pump them for info about the art teachers! Come to find out THEY HAVE 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 ART TEACHERS for 4 grades!!! WHAT!!!!!!! I could hardly believe it. I mean, I am the only art teacher for a school of 900 or more freshman...SERIOUSLY it must be nice teaching in a rich school district! hahahha
of course I am grateful for the job I have....but I'm just sayin that it MUST BE NICE! whatever
The two little girls soon moved behind us to sit with their friends. Leanne and I got so tickled listening to their convos! so cute! Then we proceeded on to taking more pictures of ourselves. hahha I am pretty sure the girls thought we were crazy!
Anyway, many of Leanne's girls were in the play and this is Kirby.....aka "Fairy Big Hair Godmother" and the pastor's daughter. She was sooooooo funny and sooooooo darling! Leanne and I could not stop laughing! I mean, look at the wig! It was bigger than her...i hardly know how she held her head up hahah.
We had such a fun time and Leanne loved it so much that on the way out she missed a step and fell on an old man hahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahhahahhahhah oh we laughed and laughed. Bless her heart. Heck, bless his heart for not falling too and graciously catching her! What a nice man.
