ONE

Saturday, Jan 17, I started this amazing blog journey. My first post was put up and my simple prayer at the bottom of that post said........

"So my prayer is this......
'Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted,
Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious things;
let this be known to all the world.
Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion,
for great is the HOLY ONE of ISRAEL among you.'
Isaiah 12:4-6
Oh Father that you would allow this page to be about you, your good work, your alive word, and your peace that is for all!"

That was my prayer one year ago. That my blog would give thanks to Him, proclaim that His name is Exalted, SING TO THE LORD...FOR HE HAS DONE GLORIOUS THINGS and that my blog would be ALL about Him!

What a year Father has played out. I spent two days praying about how he wanted me to celebrate Him on that day........I find it truly amazing that He called me to spend the day in Tulsa with a dear friend and praying for a baby that He has great things planned out for. Serving others, praying for others, and publicly proclaiming that we trust Him. Amazing how one year later He is still fulfilling that prayer I prayed!

Many of you have not been reading long enough to know that I started off blogging about whatever I wanted. Funny things going on, daily life, weekend updates and what I was learning from God. I often get asked why I do not have a place to comment on my posts. Months ago God said to stop because I write for Him not for you. My mind could easily get caught up in the comments and He clearly wanted me to write because something needs to be said...not because it is pleasing to someone. I obeyed and what amazing things GOD has done since that time. That one act of obedience has turned into a deeper walk with Him. It opened up this new level of intimacy and He has continued to write through me since. It also allowed for those that wanted to contact me could email me and those that didn't really have anything to say didn't feel like they had to leave a comment. I am not ever tempted to take His credit and what freedom comes from that. Praise You Father!

I have been blown away by how He has used this blog. I'll say it today and I'll say forever....there is nothing like serving the Lord and being used by Him. NOTHING! So I leave you one last thing before I pray.......a song that I have been singing for 4 days straight..a love song to my King.....

Take joy my King in what you hear, may it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear. Father, you have invited me into something that is far beyond my minds ability to grasp. So often i say to you "who am I" that you would chose to use me. This past year you have done a major work in me and through me. Some of my most intimate moments with you were written out for all to see because you said "WRITE". Every moment Father is so precious to me. You have opened this whole new world for me. Allowing me, for the first time, to find such fulfillment in writing about you. I spent years talking out what you were teaching me to others......but no one could ever really get it because my crazy brain works 50 million times faster than my mouth. Then you called me to this blog and writing and everything changed. I love you so much for giving me a space to just expose what I am learning. To be able to write it out and then just walk away from it. To publish it in hopes that at least one other person will understand me. Every person you have brought my way, every phone call I have received and every email I have been sent has been because of YOU! These are not my words written on every post but yours. These are not my thoughts and insights on scripture but Yours. Thank You for this blessing. Thank You for this community that YOU MADE! Thank You all the friends I have made. Thank you for all the afternoons I get to sit down and pray for them. Thank You for using me. So, I pray for another year of serving You through this blog. I ask for Your total protection around it and Your total guidance over it . I pray in advance for Your Word to wash over me in a new and fresh way. I love doing Your work. I love learning from You and I love serving You! I pray above all else that you would bring more believers into the fold and that you would disciple those that have never grown! You are so the love of my life and I worship you, OH MY SOUL REJOICE...take JOY MY KING IN WHAT YOUR HEAR!!!!!!! I love you and I give you all GLORY AND HONOR AND PRAISE FOR YOU ARE MY GOD AND YOU ARE WORTHY OF MY HANDS LIFTED HIGH TO YOU!
