Family Comes to Town
So I took off on Friday from school. I am taking of next friday for a wedding in Houston.......the next week is a normal week and then a week of for Thanksgiving. Life is good! The above picture is of me, my Daddy Bob...mom's dad, Mom, and Dad.......just guess where we had just finished eating.......CATFISH PLANTATION........ I know, I know....do i eat any where else? It just happens to be such a neat place for visitors and I benefit from the delicious fried pickles and cinnamon ice cream. ha!Anyway, I have lots of photos but I am so tired so will make the comments short. I also now have a total of three different words God has given me to post about...and I am writing them...but just can't seem to get them finished. Hang with me. He had some good things to teach me.

Daddy Bob lives in Memphis and brought us CORKY'S BBQ and beans with Leonard's Slaw......SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD...tear...tear..just the best.
I am still trying to convince my parents to move to this darling town. We spent most of the time on Friday showing D-Bob the town and driving..came back and rested and then headed to Catfish Plantation where I was like the parent taking millions of pictures of the fam hahhaah....they were great sports...anything for the blog!

so once we were stuffed we did what any family does on a Friday night.....we went to Lowe's and played. That's right...The Hughes' know how to live it up!!!!!!!Here is dad posing with my new shovel and a porcelain pig. Family joke is that we don't have animals....and no animals in the house. BUT....my mom's grandmother made them a big fat porcelain cat at church back in the day........and so dad always says..."we have a pet...see the cat....Good Cat.....stay... Good Cat"........anyway probably only funny to our family but when we see fake animals we always say "oh good------blank" and proceed with sharing all the positives on owning fake animals...yes we are weird.

and........old old OLD vehicles from the war or cars from that era.....WE WERE IN LOVE!!!!!

after walking and shopping we headed to the DOVE'S Nest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was so surprised when my dad told me we were going..........are they not the best....i love this place!!!!!!!! so this pic is proof he went to a tea room.....hhahahahaaha .....which he secretly loves too!!!!! we're no fools!

I hope you all had a great weekend. Last week was very crazy. I had a lot going and so this week I hope to be able to email many of you that emailed me. I usually try to do it right away.
