What joy has filled my soul! I clap my hands to My Father that has heard my cries for help and restored my joy! YOU ARE WORTHY OF MY PRAISE. Father has blessed me indeed the last two days. I have been refreshed and renewed...redirected a little. I took friday off and spent some much needed time in my home surrounded by peace. Enjoying two long evening walks down Main street and a afternoon nap, read a whole book yesterday and painted a picture. No arguing around me, no disciplining other's children.......just peace.
After practice I ran home to meet up with the beautiful Amy. We had a photo session all day....you know us...so I will post them as you read. She just got her hair cut...a lot....but is going to do more in the future. I can't wait! Anyway, she came over so that we could hang out. Of course you know where we went to eat lunch.........................
remember the fabulous chocolate pecan pie....or yes this is like our favorite place ever. We had the Kobe beef bourbon burger (TO DIE FOR) and the chips with corn relish (AMAZING)
It is the greatest tea room and shop. Below are some of the Christmas decor that is already up. I personally was excited to see christmas stuff already.....but I am one of "Those people" that but the decor up before Thanksgiving and keep it up till February....I KNOW I KNOW>>>>>>>> that is crazy but I JUST LOVE TWINKLE LIGHTS AND ALL THE COLORS!!!!!!!!

While I was cleaning the house, I popped a Beth Moore video in to listen to.....I didn't pick it out I just grabbed the first one and it was from the study.."To live is Christ" and somewhere between cleaning the bathroom and dusting I heard her say........."the fruits of the spirit are not just for fun....our job is to be peacemakers......the fruit of the spirit dwells in us to help us deal with difficult people....that is why it is so important that we are producing fruit/good fruit (peace, love, patience, kindness, mercy,.....) so that we can have Jesus' character filled within us when we come up against difficult people". It was just what I needed to hear. PRAISE YOU!

hahahahaa.This is me warming up hahahaha. I look crazy! it was a blast. If you can sing and you are not in the choir.....OH YOU ARE MISSIN OUT!!!! I had so much fun and my alto ladies rock my world. The new music minister is just wonderful and he continued to remind us that our job is not to be perfect but to lead others into worship! I loved that. I had not been in choir for a long time...so at first I was a bit nervous...but my reading music eyes and hearing the harmony came right back! They were so welcoming and I made several new friends right away. The older men have great voices too! I am so excited to get plugged in! There just isn't anything that compares to coorperately singing to the Lord. All the parts coming together to make beautiful music! Just like the body of Christ...all parts are needed right?

We had such a great time catching up and being silly. Of course we over ate so we headed home to lay around for awhile!

As we speak, i have anti -aging eye cream under my eyes! REALLY! wrinkles already!!!!! uggghhhhhhh look at that up-close photo of me.........THE EYES NEED MOISTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good grief! anyway, I had a wonderful day and I can only Give God the GLORY. The weather here was just perfect, the company perfect, the food perfect, the conversation......PREFECT! I felt like myself today.......seems like it has been days since I have been silly and laughing so much! JOY.......I LOVE JOY! The only verse that is on my mind tonight is"You will show me the path of live; in YOUR PRESENCE is FULLNESS OF JOY; at YOUR right hand are PLEASURES FOREVERMORE!" Psalm 16:11
love you, thank you for praying me through this time. Thank you for putting up with me and allowing me to just expose the good, bad and the ugly. I love you dearly!
ps. i am so pumped about church tomorrow!!!!! I can't wait to sing!
