BOOGA BOOGA

Dixie and George came to stay the night with my in Waxahachie before they headed on to Dixie's 2nd 10 year high school reunion..we moved when she was in high school. I was glad to have the company and so excited to drive them around my darling little town that is all decorated for Halloween and the Fall!

There was only one place that could give us the Real spooky feel of the season.....let me just say that Halloween is so not my thing but I am a sucker for fall decor......just wanted to clear that up...anyway, like i was saying, the only place fitting to eat and enjoy the atmosphere is the Catfish Plantation!
Rumor has it that it is haunted.....whatever is my response....but the entire outside waiting area and each room inside was so fun. Hay things for people to sit on, pumpkins, ghost in the trees and orange lights....it was darling!

We had about a 30 minute wait so we pulled out the camera and went into "for the blog" mode!

Dixie workin it on the pumpkin

work it girl, work it.........people just stared at us hahahaahhaha

here is george by the skeleton hang...i love how it looks like there is a bird on his shoulder!
I will have you know that I wrote commentary out for you with each picture....but now it is gone...guess the ghosts didn't want you to know more about them...hahahahahhaha oh totally kidding. Honestly I don't have a clue about what happened. It was funny stuff too! Oh well, it has cooled down here and I am pulling out the sweaters and jackets....another cold front on its way tonight. PTL!!!!!! I always say "everyone looks beautiful when it's cold"........it's true, the body is covered up....but the face.... which has rosy cheeks and a beautiful glow! Oh I just love the fall!!!!!!! Hope you had a wonderful time this weekend.

Last thing......i have been praying Psalms 27 lately. I believe Father has asked me to pray it for one of my readers. I do not know for which one. But I want you to know that if He has been speaking to you saying, "I am your light and salvation...whom shall you fear................".....then He has heard you and now asked me to intercede on your behalf. I will continue to pray that you will wait on the Lord. Be strong and take heart.....and wait on the Lord! HE IS YOUR STRONGHOLD---DO NOT BE AFRAID! Cling to chapter 27....say each word out loud and mean it! He has heard you friend! Do not give up! HE HAS HEARD YOU! SEEK HIS FACE!

Ps 27
The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?

When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh,
when my enemies and my foes attack me,
they will stumble and fall.

Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.

One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.

For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock.

Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me;
at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the LORD.

Hear my voice when I call, O LORD; be merciful to me and answer me.

My heart says of you, "Seek his face!"
Your face, LORD, I will seek.

Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger;
you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me, O God my Savior.

Though my father and mother forsake me,
the LORD will receive me.

Teach me your way, O LORD;
lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors.

Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing out violence.

I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
