Weekend Part 2

Lets see.....where did I leave off........Oh yes, the rain was a coming! They wind began to really pick up yesterday afternoon and the temp dropped! Of course, our dinner menu consisted of grilled pork-chops....and come rain or high winds....WE WERE STILL HAVING THEM!!!!!!!

We had the table set........and before we knew it, the rain had died down and dad was able to get the grill going......

we then headed to the porch to be with dad and yes i am in a blanket!!!

I am sooooooo ready for fall weather.

sometime during our "lets plan our next family vacation on a cruise"...... a beautiful rainbow appeared...followed by a second one! OH what a joy it was for us......and of course....

mom started singing "somewhere over the rainbow"
while dad killed the flies....

and the yummy pork-chops cooked!

Dad feeding the neighbor dog. We don't have animals but the dogs around my parents love love love them and come and sit with us sometimes while we rock.

ahahhaa and after we ate we had present time for the birthday girl. She got a painting from me and money to get her hair done from mom and dad......this is her covering her eyes

Today was church! let me just say it was good to hear my dad teach in s.s class and hear a good sermon in big church. I have had very few of those this past month and was excited to get a fresh word.
They then took up to this little Italian place in town that rocked my world!!!!!

OH I AM A LOVER OF BREAD!!!!!!!! AND THE ROLLS WERE AMAZING!!!!!

Hope you had a great weekend! I am secretly wishing that I had called in a sub for tomorrow. Oh well, I will save my days off for upcoming adventures! love you!
