To Swim or not to Swim in front of colleagues.....THAT IS THE QUESTION
Yesterday, my entire school staff met at the Lakeview Conference Center here in Waxahachie....which was great for me. We were told to bring something to share that "means something to us". What should have been a small activity turned into the most blessed time talking about God and his goodness boldly in front of all! To be honest I was really shocked. I know that I have a wonderful group of believers around me.....but I didn't know how many would speak boldly in front of others. It has to be one of my favorite days. "This is my story, this is my song" kept playing in my mind. So many backgrounds...some terrible...some terrific...and so many sharing about how God is so specific to meet us right where we are ! AMEN!!!!!!!! You know, Monday at our convocation, a local pastor showed up with two other pastors and prayed over the entire staff of DeSoto ISD! He asked us to stand and join hands across the auditorium and bow heads in honor and respect............AND THEY SAY YOU CAN'T PRAY IN SCHOOL.........THEY SAY IT.......BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE HAVE TO FOLLOW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the time the pastor was finished, he had laid out the plan of salvation and prayed for the staff that did not truly know him.....students that did not truly know Him AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!!!!!!! It got everyone so fired up with JOY that clapping and amens rang all over the building.....did i add that this is a public school. See, I firmly believe that if we speak boldly Father will cover us in protection!!!!!!!! I BELIEVE HIM TO DO SO!!!!!!!!!! This is my wonderful wonderful office staff!!!!

Then came the great WATER EVENTS.........that would have been fun had the life guard shown up..uuuggghhhhhh i so wanted to do the zip line thing sooooooooo bad.
MRS. C is pregnant and being so silly with her bikini top on!
and yes i wanted to test the water.....and my shoes and feet got stuck! not stuck..... but STUCK in the egg smelling, thick texas mud! YUCK!!!!!!!! it was terrible

ok so this is when it got interesting. See, i was ok with getting wet in the lake and doing the fun stuff...however, everyone decided to move to the pool and that was when I was like..."do i really want to walk around in my bathing suit in front of the staff?????????????
Well I did! the peer pressure broke me down and before i even knew what was going on, I had already gone down the yellow and red slide 3 times!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT???? DID I LOSE ME MIND........CAUSE I AM PRETTY SURE I ALMOST LOST MY TOP.....WHICH WOULD HAVE MAD ME DIE!!!!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD it stayed put cause that would not have been my finest moment!

It was a wonderful day! When i got home I was talking to the Lord and said "wow, you were apart of every conversation today LORD!!!!!!!!!! Praise YOU!!!!!!! I hope that brought you sweet joy listening to us talk about all you have done for us!"

I just want to scream THANK YOU LORD for surrounding me with such godly people that are seeking Him and trusting Him. Father your hand is all over this school. YOU ARE AT WORK! I see you!!!!!!!!!!!! Continue to protect us from evil.........in all forms.....for we will work to give you and only you all PRAISE AND HONOR!!!!!!!!!! You were so present yesterday in that room and I thank you for moving!
