Crazy Tokyo pictures and a few random things.......
Good morning everyone! I want to thank you so much for letting me vent the other night. I love you for listening.....and PRAYING!!! Yesterday was a wonderful day of taking care of things around the house and spending time with my thoughts on Father. It was good and refreshing!
This post is all pictures. I know, I know....me and my long post lately...I can't help it. Yesterday I got a package....my first one at my new house...from my Realtor and his wife.............this is what I opened.....
I was so excited...see....and yes i did answer the door to the UPS man like this! In fact, my dad will appreciate this picture because growing up my nickname was "towel head" cause I would wear a towel on my head all day....if I could get away with it!!!!! anyway, the gift was three little tin cans of cookies........YUM YUM YUM
they are from some company called"Miss Grace lemon cake co"..........and they are soooooo good. I got chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and lemon. THANKS Brandy and fam!
I also worked on my dining room and hung my curtains....this is before
after......oh i love curtains!!!! they just make everything seem so welcoming I think!
I also covered 2 more canvas with material and hung these above my computer desk....
So that was yesterday......exciting i know hahahhha. Ok I have been dying to share my crazy Tokyo pics with you for a while. I mentioned them to you before. So let me set the scene. Every weekend in Yoyogi park they have an out door festival of sorts.....kinda. There is food, shopping, dancing, and then there are "those people".......they would be the ones that are dying to get noticed by someone famous....so all these different types of "artist" line up everywhere and battle for the attention of others....hoping that they will one day become famous.......so lets begin shall we......this is a shopping area. they are real big on American tee-shirts so you can take yours off....which i did not participate in...and get 2 or 3 of theirs shirts. They sale our old goodwill tee-shirts for like high dollar there?/???????? very interesting.
I wanted to save this for the last but i just couldn't. OK really look at these girls............there is a bridge right by the park where all these girls dress up like baby dolls.......and i know your thinking that they may be prostitutes but everyone kept saying that they just do it.....for fun?????? and i believe them!!!!!! this was the craziest thing to me because a lot of these outfits were selling in the stores for hundreds of dollars.....whatever.
girl group singing.....can you just look at all the camera's...........
my favorite part was the street of bands....one after another playing...they were really good. I liked hearing all the live music!
ok...i have a video of this one. This guy is painting to music and doing all this belly role stuff and kicking in the air.....kinda like Celine Dion but no splits.......Tokyo really likes to perform and if you haven't noticed their rule is "ANYTHING GOES"
These next three pictures are for my Memphis Family.............THEY LOVE LOVE LOVE ELVIS THERE!!!!! I MEAN LOVE HIM. SO WHEN I WOULD TELL THEM MY PARENTS AND THE MAJORITY OF FAMILY ARE FROM MEMPHIS THEY WOULD SCREAM AT ME !!!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!
CHECK OUT THE HAIR

the next two pics are my favorite from the trip. This is Cara and I standing on the section between 2 rail carts. It was my favorite thing to do. It was like a roller coaster and the side were just covered with material...it was pretty thick...and so this is us straddling two sides and having a blast!!!!!!....Cara could so be my sister....hahahaha isn't she precious!!!!!
Last but not least...i took this the first day we were there. We had just eaten at this great place and came outside and saw that the ceiling cover was all mirrors........I just love this picture! Already have it framed!
I have one more story from Japan but will save that for another day. Thanks for looking!
