Ok so I have so much to share!!!!!!! I had a great weekend and I hope that you did too!!!!! I have some news on my living situation and that is the post under this one. My friend L called me from Asia and I was so overwhelmed by her call, that the minute I got off the phone I wrote the following. I wanted to share my feelings about Missions and what has been on my heart lately!
Friday Night..............
It's 10 pm and I just got off the phone with L, who is half way around the world. While I was washing my face and getting ready for bed, she was up early at her favorite restaurants eating french toast and drinking delicious Asian coffee. YUM YUM!!!! To hear her voice and her laugh made me cry. While we were sharing updates on each other's lives, I started to feel my heart lift as she began to encourage me so. YES ENCOURAGE!!!!! The one in a country not her own, without a soul that has known her very long, learning a language that is soooooo hard..........yet she was the one encouraging me. She is working in the camps of so many displaced people by disaster and yet her heart seemed so on beat and in step with our Father's. I could hear it in her voice.
SHE IS TOTALLY TRUSTING HIM.........
SHE IS IN HIS WILL!
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
"May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else." That is my prayer for all Missionaries. They are really on my heart lately. I want to encourage them in every way. I want them to know that Satan may try to convince them they are unworthy of the work or question their personal calling........but "STAND FIRM. LET NOTHING MOVE YOU. ALWAYS GIVE FULLY TO THE WORK OF THE LORD, BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT YOUR LABOR IN THE LORD IS NOT IN VAIN!" The work he has called you to is BIG and it is GOOD. Their are millions waiting to hear your very voice. He has called you to be the one to share THAT HIS LOVE IS FREE AND AND HIS MERCY IS NEW EACH MORNING!
l.g, a.r, d.s, d.r, j.g, the w's, the m's, the s's..........You have the hardest job of all. I fully understand that Satan will attack you there or you loved ones at home in order to do whatever it takes to get you to stop SHARING JESUS!!!! I pray that you stay the course. I pray you fall in love with the very place you are called to. I pray that you would find favor in everyone you meet and that God would "enable your servants to speak your WORD with GREAT BOLDNESS."!!!!! I pray health over you in Jesus Name! May you, Father, fill them up each day with your Holy Spirit!!!!
Father, protect those that are delivering your Good News. I pray you teach us all how to really "love the Lord with all your heart and with all your mind"....I ask that those reading this would have a new insight in prayer for our missionaries. CHANGE OUR PRECONCEIVED IDEAS ABOUT WHAT THEY DO, WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE. MAKE US PRAYER WARRIORS OVER THEM! CONVICT OUR HEARTS IN A DEEP PERSONAL WAY TO SUPPORT THEM! Thank you in advance for the planting, sowing, and the reaping of a great harvest that is going to happen in each country. I want to be in step and on beat with you too God!!!!! MAKE YOUR NAME FAMOUS FATHER!
I want to see these precious faces in Heaven, God!
Oh please continue to raise us up to SERVE!!!!!!!
