Saturday with Mom
Hi everyone!!!!!!! I am up at school this afternoon so that I won't get behind on posting with the ole blog. Mom and I met up on Saturday in Lewisville, which is about half way for both of us, to eat, shop, talk 90 miles an hour....as my dad says.......and just take our time going where ever we wanted!!! NO SCHEDULES ALLOWED YESTERDAY!!!!!!!However, I did wake up on my wonderful Saturday morning at 5:30 AM
I was like "REALLY, REALLY.......YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME....I can actually sleep in and your all wide eyed and bushy tailed CAROLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Oh well, I had a lovely morning and when I sat down at my desk.....this is what happened.....................
BECAUSE I WAS BUYING A NEW BIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH YES GIRLS...I DID IT!!! I DIDN'T EVEN HESITATE. YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD. of course today.....i am a little sad...but Like Julia said on her comment....."it allowed her to see the word differently" and I know that will be the truth. ok Mardel's is like my favorite place ever. I assume that you all have one by you or know what it is but if you don't.....it is a massive Christian store with everything under the sun!!!!! .......church supplies...........school supplies...music....EVERY BOOK IN THE CHRISTIAN WORLD!!!!! A SEMINARY STUDENT'S DREAM...every map, book, commentary. OH GIRLS I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!

The VERY long wall of bibles!!!!!! i was very overwhelmed!!!!!
Did i tell you that they also sale books WAY CHEAPER THAN THE LIFEWAY STORES!!!!!THIS IS Mom in the bargain section!!!!! We both picked up the 90 days of "Jesus, the one and only". I love these 90 day studies. I am currently doing "David" and enjoy using it when i am in between in depth studies!!!!

Then I had my name put on OF COURSE!!!
We then headed to Olive Garden for a big fat lunch of Soup, Salad, and bread sticks......we were kindly rolled out of the restaurant.... to our cars and took off for some serious shopping!my "cool" pose.....
Then remembering that I am sooooooo not!

OOOOOOO THIS IS THE NEW BOOK MOM BOUGHT FOR ME....book-by-book...it is GREAT!!!
And introducing my summer bible study I will be doing!!!!!! Last summer it was Paul and I in "To Live is Christ"....this summer its me and John in "Beloved Disciple". I am so excited!
Me last night.....remembering that I bought the bible with the tabs!!!!! I HAVE NEVER HAD A BIBLE WITH THEM!!!!! I WAS SCREAMING HERE!!!! I COULD HARDLY CONTROL THE JOY!
This morning, in church, I had a bit of a moment where I looked back over the last 4 years with my other bible. I had it for just a short time, but I hardly know that girl that received that bible as a graduation present. I know longer know that girl that God was telling her "you chose this "situation", you thought it was what I wanted child, but you chose this, now chose to return to me fully and I will retrain your every thought and action so that YOU LIVE IN FREEDOM"! OH I LOVE HOW HE DESIRES TO MAKE US MORE!!!! TO CHANGE US!!!! YOU MAKE ALL THINGS NEW FATHER!!!! I am now ready to walk out this new stage of life. I have new strength from him. I am so excited to see what his word will say to me. What trials will come up and what prayers will be ANSWERED. It's like a blank sheet. Fresh, new, without stain and completely ready to be marked on and highlighted as the Lord teaches me!!!!!!OH FATHER I LOVE A NEW START, take this new Word of God and lead me to whatever it is that you have in store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OPEN UP MY EYES THAT I MAY SEE WONDERFUL THINGS IN YOUR LAW!!!!!
