LOCKED OUT
ok so i have to type fast. i have to be at my house be 3.15
1. i totally locked myself out of my home this morning. yes i was on time and yes i locked my car and house keys inside.
2. Praise God i had my cell phone and called my school Secretary to come get me.
3. i almost had a melt down but because kicking down the door does not accomplish anything good......i called the parents. Mom being the genius she is said "hey wait caroline, your house is on the market...the Realtor has a key!"
4. MOM SAVED THE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD HE LET HER Remember that info.
5. i did miss almost all of 1st period do to my craziness.
6. On a positive note.....i laughed the whole time. this is big because in my last lock out........was UGLY........

recap......i was living in my apartment, i was on the second floor, and on the porch doing "Daniel" bible study.....drinking a massive bottle of water. I had shut my glass door like i did everyday. Well on that beautiful sat afternoon.....IT LOCKED ME OUT...ON THE SECOND FLOOR WITH A FULL BLADDER......NO WAY DOWN.
SO I DID WHAT ANYONE WOULD DO..........
I called 911.
but apparently being stuck somewhere and not able to get out doesn't qualify as an emergency. I mean the fire department gets cats out of trees. Could i at least get a ladder to SAVE ME!

that was when i had a break down. Crying like a baby as though my life was over and i would die alone on my second story balcony!!!!!!
Can you say "get a life Caroline"...really........i was a mess.....so all this to say that I am growing and becoming less of a disaster when things go crazy.
So for that I just say the verse sent me this morning by my mom.....
Be still and know that I am God!
