ok so yesterday morning my backyard looked like this.......................

Now, I moved into this house in june of last year. I was really excited about cutting the grass (although i will never claim that last statement once i am married) because I actually like labor work. I know, crazy right, but I really do like working hard. Well I thought a lot about buying a gas mower or a reel mower. In my mind, at the time, I liked the idea of not having to go get gas for the mower and not having to pour it and chance it getting all over me and then smelling like gas for a week. So i headed to Home Depot and talked with the mower guy. He kept saying " lady are you sure, I know this is like going "green" and all......but this is gonna kill you". I blew him of instantly......... DOES HE NOT KNOW THAT I AM

JUMP AROUND ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.......so i bought the "reel mower"

I am now eating my words and swallowing my PRIDE BIG TIME!!!!!! The first time i pulled the thing out my neighbors.....who are older........and remember using them back in the day.......came out, with chairs, and watched me go back and worth. uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. One neighbor kindly came over and offered up his mower. hahahhahh I still resisted. Anyway, it was a waste of money and what should have been a 1 hour mow job turned into a 3 hour mow and total dehydration. And yes i did use it several more times.....i am so hard headed.......until i broke down and started paying to have it cut. it was a sad day......i felt bad. so here is my beautiful yard this a afternoon.

SHUT UP SHUT UP I HAVE SEEN THIS LOOK BEFORe....

bless his heart. I know his pain, i really know his pain see Moral of this story.........the reel mower wasn't fun then and it still isn't fun today!!!!! I am now so thankful for my little guys that can get the job done in a total of like 30 minutes. Now that makes me joyful!!!!!!!!
