Unseen Evil
Warning Warning.......girls I feel like and possibly know that it is just one of those weeks when I can't see what is happening above me in the heavenly, but the Holy Spirit is keeping me on my guard just enough to say....."This is War". Of course we all have hills, mountains, valleys......"Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of the darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" Ephesians 6:12.
I want to be able to write you today with something funny and silly and totally lighthearted...why?????? Because my "normal" personality is "a wonderful world". I like peace...little drama... and pure joy. I have a great post about sandwiches....strange but fun. I would like to post it but it is not me today. Every day is not going to be the way i want it. This week is not good. Just the facts. Even though i hate to have to fight....I will fight in the Name of Jesus. In Neil T. Anderson's book...The Bondage Breaker....he says about dealing with satan..."You don't have to out shout him or out muscle him to be free of his influence. You just have to out truth him. BELIEVE, DECLARE, AND ACT UPON THE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD, AND YOU WILL THWART SATAN'S STRATEGY". The evil one is at work this week here at school and trying to hit me in my personal life as well. Just being transparent. I mean, 3rd graders plotting to hurt their teacher, crazy kids around me, and a teacher's daughter in my district has gone missing. He is working. Though I am in battle mode this is what I know girls.....
1. "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free". john 8
2. " I do not ask Thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one...Sanctify them in the truth; Thy Word is Truth". john 17
3. "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE." john 14
Anderson also says..."Affirming the truth of Christ's victory and satan's defeat is the primary step to successfully stand against the enemy's attempts to intimidate you".
Father you are my all in all. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed at this very moment. I need your peace to wash over me. I ask that you would fill me up by the power of the Holy Spirit so that I am producing much fruit. As you fight these battle's for me and through me, I ask that you would allow those that are after me to find favor in me. That you would shut down all evil plots, all evil schemes, and all evil actions in the NAME OF JESUS. Oh Father, I ask that you would bless my blogging gals today. For those that are in my same position....that you would rejoice over them in singing, and quiet them with your love. For those that are so encouraged in you today....that your fragrance on them would be so pleasing and delightful to all those that pass by them. You oh God are my strong refuge; make my way perfect. YOU ARE IN CONTROL. YOU ARE LORD OF MY CURRENT SITUATION. I ASK TRULY THY WILL BE DONE!
