The Harvest

".........the one who sows to please the Spirit, will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Galations 6: 8-9

So ladies, saturday night was my Gala thing and I was able to receive some harvest of seed sown 4 years ago. PRAISE YOU FATHER!

This is the hotel the event was located...

Inside the grand ballroom. Starbucks coffee greated us and I was SOOOOO EXCITED!

This is Jennifer, future Georgetown student, and I before the event. They had roses for us and we got to take our picture together with a photographer....who was alittle shady and gave me is card...but that is another post......

Jennifer with her Mom...
Me before I left...yes i have clothes on in this picture...my dress was strapless and yes i took this one...give me a break.....I live alone... But my hair was lookin good! until I got there and the winds were like 100 miles an hour.........and the lord brought me back to reality "its just hair caroline"

The night was really fun. Lots of music and auctioning of stuff I could not afford. My favorite moment was when Jennifer and I were introduced and we got to walk down together. She is a precious girl and smart as can be..... I mean GEORGETOWN....... anyway, biology is her life but art is her escape! This is what she wrote about me.....and I only share this because I had her my first year teaching and did not have a clue. I did love that first year. It was crazy but honestly i was just trying to survive, you know. I want to share this because God is GOOD. I say that a lot but girls I MEAN IT. He uses us when we don't even have a clue. I had no idea what I meant to her and I am so grateful that he gave me this peak of the harvest...just a taste of it revives me all the more to seek him first! I just took a picture so if you want to read it you can, if not no big deal.
My kids are finishing there big project today...grades due in 5 hours uggggghhhhhhhhh
but I wanted you to see some that are already on the wall in the hall.......
Here is my finished one and the pencil pic is my current project......
last but not least...i made the meat things sunday after church. However, I did not have a cup cake pan so i just did turnovers! They were great. I added some stuff to them but I have lots of left overs for this week....... that and a salad...good to go.
