Biblical Hermeneutics...Biblical what??? exactly...

Yesterday was Amy's birthday as many of you know but we also had a night class which is from 6pm till 9pm. What a beating!!!!!!! Ok so about Biblical Hermeneutics...... the study of how to acquire the message....to carry forth a message. Basically how to read the bible and understand what it is saying. FUN FUN

These are our books.......

This is what our reading looks like....yuck NO PICTURES AT ALL AND I AM TOTALLY A VISUAL LEARNER!!!!!! So I love this class because one day it is going to help me be a good bible teacher but since I do this all day long......
I teach several lessons to my students about new art techniques, then we start a major project that usually takes us anywhere from 1 month to 6 weeks. I do the projects with them..ART ALL DAY LONG EVERYDAY!!!!! But that might be why I don't craft as much when I get home...I just had that revelation. Anyway, after creating all day I find it hard to sit for 3 hours to a lecture. So Amy and had some fun with my camera.

On the way to class...with our Chipotle cups....

FYI spicy fat burrito

before a long

3 hour class = not a good idea

so cold outside
This is the beautiful building were our class is

Here is my professor chit chatting with some students...I thought i was being sneaky taking his picture but I totally forgot to turn the flash off. Oh well, the things we do for our blogs. I hope he doesn't think I am stocking him.

Here is Amy being so studious and me having so much fun in stealth mode trying to take pictures and YES MOM, I WAS LISTENING TO MY TEACHER!!!!
Amy gets to be cool and type all her notes on her labtop while I.........

have to take notes the old school way. Yes, today I realize that this dress is a lot of print..Wow don't look for to long. I wish you could see the guy that sits by me. He is the loudest ice cruncher I have ever encountered, seriously. I can't stop laughing when he does it and then he looks at me like "what?".
So that is the night in the life of a full time-amy and part time-me seminary student. We do love school really. I wish I could go full time but my parents won't let me move back in with them hahahahha so I am forced to work. I think what I love most about my class is the wealth of knowledge from all the pastors and soon to be pastors in my class. They are smart guys and I just love how they love the Lord. I also like discovering why so many translations have verses left out or added...and why.
I pray this verse a lot...."Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your Law" and ask that he will make me smarter. LORD IT IS AN HONOR TO STUDY ABOUT YOU, THANK YOU.
